Los Hualles comprises an 23 ha/57 acres hazelnut plantation with about 7,000 bushes, 35 ha/86 acres of grassland & meadows, 2 ha/5 acres of remaining eucalyptus plantation and 14 ha/34 acres of native old-growth southern beech forest (Nothofargus sp).

We currently produce and sell organic hazelnuts, hay and beef cattle for the regional and international markets. Additionally, we process smaller volumes of  lumber and firewood from dead or fallen trees which we use for heating our houses,  construction and repairs.

Normally we employ 2 people full-time during the year and about 12 persons for seasonal harvest during April-May.  All installations and equipment are up-to-date and in compliance with national labour laws and regulations.
